Why Mangal Bhat Pooja in Ujjain?

Bhat means Rice. it is the worship of Shivling with rice. Mangal Bhat Puja is a kind of Puja i.e worship that is mainly performed for the person who became boisterous due to their anger, majorly affected due to relationships, heart-related problems, financial problems, accidents, marital life, or run into debts.

If Mangal is present in the first, fourth, seventh, eighth, and twelfth position in the Janam Kundli then, Jyotish Shashtra considers that person to be a Manglik. How to perform

Mangal Bhat Puja can be done in two ways:
1) Normal Mangal Bhat Puja
● It is performed with Ganpati Pujan and by offering Bhat (Rice) to Mangal at Mangalnath Mandir.
● It will take around 30-40 min. to complete the Puja.

2) Mangal Bhat Puja with Navgraha Havan
● At first, Ganpati Puja is done which is then accompanied by Navgraha Havan. In the end, Bhat (Rice) offering is made to Mangalnath.
● It will take around 1 Hrs. to complete the Puja.

The best day to perform this pooja is Tuesday. It includes five types of pooja:
● Ganesh Gowri Puja
● Mangal Kalash Puja
● Panchamrut Puja
● Dahi Bhat Puja
● Navgraha Puja


Lord Ganesha and Mata Parvati are worshipped at the very beginning. After this, Navagraha is worshipped. It is then followed by Kalash worship and Shivalinga form of Lord Panchamrit worship and Abhishek is done by Vedic mantras.

Then, the main offering of rice is presented to the Lord followed by the rituals of Bhaat Poojan, Abhishek, and Mangal Jaap.
