Akshardham Temple: Built along one of the holy rivers of India, Yamuna, Akshardham Temple is a wonderful and jaw-dropping structure, which depicts the great Indian culture. The temple consists of 20,000 statues, floral motifs and alluring stone pillars, that carry intricately done carvings. To facilitate a soul stirring experience, anything except the wallet is not permitted inside the temple, they have to be submitted at a special counter before stepping on security check.The first marvelous feature of the temple is the assembly of ten grand gates. Next you come across two transcendent gates, one is 'Gate of Devotion' and another, 'twin peacock gates', each of which is decorated with 869 sculpted peacocks.
