Detailed Description

Day -1

Early morning, chauffeur will pick you up from Delhi and drive you to Jaipur. Jaipur, the flamboyant & colorful capital of Rajasthan is known as “Pink City” of India. With its rich & colorful past, resplendent with tales of valor & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors.First, you will visit Jal Mahal.

Surrounded by the beautiful Aravalli hills range, Jal Mahal ("Water Palace") is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. Known for the majestic architecture and sophisticated design, the site is cherished as the most romantic place in Jaipur. You will find yourself spell bound when you see

the red sandstone intricate architecture casting beautiful reflections in the calm waters of the Man Sagar Lake.After this visit, you will be transferred to hotel and check in. Take lunch and relax for some time. In evening you will be driven to Birla Temple.

Birla Temple or Lakshmi Narayan Temple is located at the foot of Moti Doongri, a fortress turned palace. You will get amazed by seeing temple's excellent architecture and splendid marble carvings. The inner panels of the temple are decorated with paintings of mythological episodes, you will also see here idols and shrines

of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. On the outside, the temple adorns intricate carvings of many historic and religious figures. The three marble domes of the temple represent the three major religions of the country. Later you will return to hotel. Take your dinner and retire for the night.

Day - 2
In the morning, after enjoying delicious breakfast, you will check out of hotel. First, you will visit Amber Fort & Enjoy Elephant ride to Amer fort. Constructed of red and white sandstone, Amber Fort displays a perfect fusion of Hindu as well as Muslim architectural styles. Exteriors of the fort are super-imposing, with interiors both ornate and elegant. You will not be able to stop gazing at this monument, wondering at its mirror works, paintings, carvings, mosaics, engravings, frescoes and murals.

Next, drive to Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal is also called as “Palace of Winds” or “Palace of the Breeze”. Designed by Lal Chand Ustad in the form of crown of Krishna, the Hindu god and built of red & pink sandstone, this palace sweeps off its visitors to a land of dreams. Its unique 5-storey structure looks similar to a giant beehive. A major attraction of this structure is its 953 small windows (jharokhas) that are intricately decorated with skillfully done latticework.After visiting Hawa Mahal, you'll be taken to City Palace.This magnificent palace is a perfect illustration of architecture, art and craft structure. It is a palace complex of Jaipur that includes Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. The complex also exhibits museum which has a rich collection of royal costumes and a display of the Rajput weaponry.After you have explored City Palace, chauffeur will drive back to Delhi.
