Sheetla Mata is one among the numerous Indian Gods and Goddesses and is much revered by thousands of devotees across the nation. The annual fair is held in the village of Seel-Ki-Doongri in Jaipur in the Hindu month of Chaitra i.e. March- April on Krishna Paksh. Doongri is a small hilltop on which the shrine of Sheetla Mata is positioned in a temple and a red stone symbolizes the demigoddess. The fair is organized to celebrate the glory of the Sheetla Mata and also trying to please her by bestowing earnest prayers and some of the holy offerings to the Goddess.

As ironic as it may sound, whilst the name Sheetla, having been derived from Sheetal suggests calm, composed and pleasant, the Goddess in actuality is much known for her wrath and people are quite literally

God- fearing in this regard. It is a strong belief among the localities that if the displeasure of Sheetla Mata is brought upon, then there can be an extreme spread of epidemics in the village. Thereafter, the devotees worship the Goddess quite sincerely so as to pacify her and keep her in good spirits aside from their general religiousness.

Day -1

Early morning, chauffeur will pick you up from Delhi and drive you to Jaipur. Jaipur, the flamboyant & colorful capital of Rajasthan is known as “Pink City” of India. With its rich & colorful past, resplendent with tales of valor & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors.First, you will visit Jal Mahal.

Surrounded by the beautiful Aravalli hills range, Jal Mahal ("Water Palace") is a palace located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. Known for the majestic architecture and sophisticated design, the site is cherished as the most romantic place in Jaipur. You will find yourself spell bound when you see

Day 08: Udaipur Morning after breakfast left yourself in depth of charm.Start your tour to visit the City Palace , built by Maharana Udai Singh on the bank of Pichola Lake , Jagdish Temple , Sahelion-ki-Bari ( Gardens of the maids of Honor ). Later in the evening enjoy boat cruise on Lake Pichola .After a busy day come back to your hotel & rejuvante yourself .Overnight at hotel.

Day 09: Udaipur – Pushkar ( 280 Kms / 5 hrs ) Leave to Pushkar , a very famous religious hindu religious centre & houses of various sacred temples.Upon arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon take a sightseeing tour of Pushkar. We will visit the Brahma Temple ( said to be the one & only temple of Lord Brahma in world ) & other various temples. Later visit the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer , a world wide popular pilgrimage centre which attracts a large number of pilgrims every year.Overnight at hotel.
